Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to medical-surgical patients while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
Perform patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Promote patient safety and adhere to infection-control standards.
Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
Active Nebraska RN license or Compact RN license required.
Current BLS certification required.
Previous Med-Surg RN experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work varied shifts based on facility needs.
Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,500.00 per week
