About This Position
Workers Compensation Nurse Field Case Manager
Full training is provided. If you do not have Workers Compensation experience, we can train you.
Current openings are in Fresno, Bakersfield, and Los Angeles areas.
An Ideal candidate will have:
California RN License required
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
CCM Certification preferred
Workers Compensation Nurse Case Manager experience preferred
Local to the Fresno, Bakersfield, or Los Angeles areas required
Some responsibilities of the position:
Assessing the injured workers medical issue and coordinating the treatment plan to gain a successful file closure.
Deliver monthly progress reports on a timely basis for billing purposes.
Work with employers on job duty modifications based on medical limitations and the employee’s functional assessment.
Explaining physician’s and therapists’ instructions, and answers any other questions the claimant may have in an effort to facilitate his/her return to work
Develop and maintain a list of exceptional providers in the trade area for recommendations.
May provide testimony on litigated cases.Coordinating injured workers’ appointments and attends. Maintaining phone contact with all parties involved.
Keeping accreditation current and in good standing.
Capturing your time for case management duties.
Serve as an intermediary to interpret and educate the individual on his/her disability, and the treatment plan established by the case manager, physicians, and therapists.
Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of developments in the medical case management field.
Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
