AMBULATORY CARE CLINIC / MED-SURG FLOAT REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Pay: $70/hour
Location: Red Mesa, AZ – Four Corners Regional Health Center
Job Type: Contract | 40 hrs/week
We’re hiring experienced Registered Nurses to join the Ambulatory Care Clinic with Med-Surg Float responsibilities as needed at Four Corners Regional Health Center in Red Mesa, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs looking for a Monday–Friday daytime contract assignment while providing outpatient care and supporting the Med-Surg unit when coverage is needed.
What You'll Do
Provide outpatient nursing care in the Ambulatory Care Clinic
Float to the Med-Surg unit when needed based on facility staffing needs
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Provide treatments and nursing interventions as directed
Administer medications and immunizations
Perform IV access, lab draws, and other basic nursing procedures
Assist providers with clinical procedures
Care for patients with acute and chronic conditions
Provide care for pediatric and maternal patients as needed
Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
Educate patients and families regarding treatments and health management
Document observations, interventions, and patient care accurately in the health record
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and Privacy Act requirements
Utilize IHS information technology systems as required
Participate in required orientation, training, and competencies
Requirements
Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, DC, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
At least 2 years of Ambulatory Care or Medical-Surgical experience
Current BLS certification – required
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer skills
Must be comfortable working in both Ambulatory Care and Med-Surg settings
Must meet required background, credentialing, security, and health screenings
Fitness-for-duty certification required

Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:30 PM
40 hours/week
No weekends or federal holidays unless required by management
Med-Surg float coverage when needed
6-month base contract
Four additional 6-month option periods available
Potential contract length of up to 30 months
