About This Position

We are a private medical family practice located in Gig Harbor, WA. We currently have 11 providers (4 Physicians, 4 Physician Assistants, and 3 Nurse Practioners). In July 2022, we transitioned our business model to a membership practice. With that, we hold ourselves to the utmost level of professionalism. Our goal is to provide our members with the best patient care possible.

We are looking for a LPN or Certified Medical Assistance to join our team. We are hiring full-time positions with no weekends. Ideal candidate for this position is patient-care focused, friendly, dependable and has a strong work ethic.

Position summary: The LPN or Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the provider with clinical support duties. Works closely with physicians, other clinical staff and patients to provide excellent care to our patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF LPN OR CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Room patients, obtain vitals, patient history and reason for seeking care.

Process telephone messages.

Follow prescription refill procedures.

Maintain patient records confidentially.

Assist the provider with patient education pertaining to their ongoing health care.

Administer immunizations.

Laboratory preparation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.

Maintain work area, exam rooms, supplies, medications and immunizations.

Perform basic triage per specific office protocol procedures.

Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.

Document work processes as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/ Certification/Licensure:

LPN or Certified Medical Assistant through the Washington State Department of Health

CPR certification for Health Care Providers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50 - $35.00 per hour
