What Will Your Day Look Like?
You'll provide hands-on nursing care to patients while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Your responsibilities may include:
Performing nursing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
Administering medications and treatments
Responding to urgent and emergent medical needs
Communicating changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare providers
Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
Providing patient education and supporting continuity of care
Following established clinical protocols and standards of care
Working collaboratively with nursing, medical, and correctional staff
