About This Position
Millenia Medical Staffing, a Joint Commission Certified Company, has Nationwide openings for Registered Nurses (RN's) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN's) to work with our Government and Correctional Facilities. Responsibilities and duties are (but not limited to): proven successful interactions with correctional patients; positive attitude; strong work ethic; excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with staff to implement care coordination programs.
Minimum Qualifications of the LPN/LVN
Currently registered LPN/LVNwith a compact or single state license. Minimum of 2 years recent, direct patient care and medical record documentation. Clients prefer recent Correctional and Requires 1 year of Medical Surgical experience in a hospital setting or LTAC.
Special consideration given for past experience in federal facilities such as VAMC, Indian Health Services, Federal Bureau of Prisons, ICE, DOD or other Federal Agencies
Active TX or Compact License
Must have One year of Med-Surg hospital experience in a hospital setting or LTAC experience.
Perfers 1 year’s experience recent/past experience in Corrections
13 week contract
36 to 40 hour schedule per week
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,560.00 - $2,150.00 per week
