We offer South Sound residents compassionate, experienced, and innovative treatment in cancer care, and have an immediate opportunity for an LPN Infusion Nurse to join our team.
As our Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient care services and follow-up in accordance with the treatment plan and with a focus on patient comfort and safety. This includes, but is not limited to:
Accessing central venous access device (port/catheter) according to clinic policy and establishing peripheral IV site or ensuring patency of previously placed IV site prior to starting treatment
Administering prescribed medications and treatments
Initiating patient education plans
Qualified candidates will have:
Current Washington LPN license
BLS certification
**To ensure the safety of NWMS’ vulnerable patient populations, we require post-offer proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot and COVID-19. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
