Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals on a Med Surg unit with telemetry monitoring needs.
- Monitor vital signs and telemetry, recognizing and escalating changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the assigned systems.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to support safe, effective transitions of care.
Requirements
- Active RN licensure
- Telemetry/Tele nursing experience or competency working with monitored patients
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work the NOC shift as scheduled
