Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a progressive care/medical surgical setting during the overnight shift.
- Monitor and assess patient condition and report significant changes to the care team.
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
- Coordinate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, timely care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with facility standards.
- Support patient comfort, safety, and infection prevention practices.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure (state of practice as required for assignments).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- PCU/stepdown experience preferred (or demonstrated competency in progressive care/monitored patient settings).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work the NOC shift (1900-0730).
