Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patient conditions.
Perform various clinical procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in nursing.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred.
Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology is beneficial.
Previous experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pain management techniques, including acute pain management and palliative care practices.
Proficiency in performing physical examinations, triage assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating strong leadership skills.
