  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients’ families and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and treatment progress.
  • Support infection control protocols by practicing proper manual handling techniques and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist in emergency response situations within the hospital or outpatient settings, demonstrating expertise in acute care procedures across diverse specialties such as trauma centers, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or urgent care environments.

    Requirements

  • Valid license from the State Board of Nursing with current registration in good standing.
  • Proven experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or related acute care settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for efficient clinical documentation and medical records management.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and health regulations compliance including HIPAA standards.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture, injection administration, CPR/AED operation, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, or outpatient clinics; school clinic experience is a plus.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families and healthcare teams.
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for patient mobility and safety.

Join us as a Floor Nurse where your expertise fuels exceptional patient care! We are committed to supporting your professional growth through ongoing training opportunities in emergency response procedures, clinical interprofessional collaboration, and adherence to nursing policy compliance standards.
