About This Position
Northern Lights Rehab and Long Term Care is hiring a Director of Nursing. Position is in Minot, about two hours north of Bismarck. Relocation assistance available.
You'll lead the nursing department: staffing, clinical quality, and survey readiness. Hands-on role with a team that counts on you.
What you'll do:
Hire, schedule, coach, and retain nursing staff
Own clinical quality, QAPI, and infection control
Keep nursing survey-ready under CMS and ND regulations
Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team on resident care
Manage nursing budget, supplies, and agency usage
What we're looking for:
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact eligible
Prior DON or ADON experience in skilled nursing or long term care
Working knowledge of MDS, QAPI, and the survey process
Steady under pressure and good with people
Minot is a smaller market with a lower cost of living, and this is a role you can hold for a long time.
