Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care
Type - Travel Contract
Location: Alma, NE
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7p -7:30a)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Job Duties
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and established nursing standards.
Administer medications, treatments, injections, and other prescribed therapies while monitoring residents for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in residents' conditions, promptly reporting concerns to the RN or healthcare provider.
Provide wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures as ordered.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and nutritional needs.
Monitor and document residents' intake and output, nutritional status, pain levels, and overall health condition.
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
Requirements:
Active LPN License
BLS (AHA)
Travel Experience Required
2+ Years of recent LTC experience
GA01
Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,600.00 per week
