About This Position
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The LPN will administer medications, monitor residents’ conditions, communicate with physicians and families, and support CNAs and the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications safely according to the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing.
Report suspected or alleged abuse, neglect, or misappropriation according to facility policy.
Communicate changes in residents’ conditions with physicians and family members as appropriate.
Assist CNAs with call lights and resident-care responsibilities.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Current Wisconsin LPN License in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS Certification.
1+ year of related experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and teamwork.
Compassionate and professional approach to resident care.
Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
