About This Position
For over 35 years Fox Valley Pulmonary Medicine has been providing excellence in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine to patients in the Fox Valley and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking an additional experienced Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to work a flexible 32-40 hours/week - with no nights or weekends! This is a fast-paced position and requires the ability to multi-task. This role assists with triage and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. We are seeking an energetic, positive and friendly person!
Essential Job duties:
· Triage patient needs
· Relays results to patients
· Medication refills
· Schedule procedures
· Coordinates referrals with other providers
· Completes patient education
· Schedules appointments
· Administers vaccinations
· Works cooperatively as a valuable part of the patient care team
· Maintains confidentiality of patient information
· Completes forms
· Completes prior authorizations for medications/procedures
· Completes appeals
· management of Epic work queues
· Other duties as assigned
This position travels to our Appleton and Neenah offices. Must be willing to comply with company policies and procedures. It is important that you respect and understand the need to have an excellent attendance history. Prior Epic experience is a plus.
