Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive nursing care for patients in an ICU/telemetry setting.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Administer treatments and medications according to orders and applicable standards.
- Document patient care accurately using the designated charting system.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for practice in California.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Care of ventilated patients.
- Continuous IV sedation.
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- ICP monitoring (required).
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Starting and maintaining IVs.
- Experience with Cerner charting is preferred.

Experience
- Two years of nursing experience preferred; candidates with less than two years may be considered with strong experience.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Travel nursing experience required; candidates without travel experience may be considered with strong experience.
- Level I trauma experience preferred.
