Position Details

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient status, communicate changes promptly, and document care accurately.
- Support emergency interventions and promote patient safety throughout the assignment.

- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- CCRN certification
- CPI certification
- MAB certification
- NIHSS certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
- Experience with any charting system
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Management of dysrhythmias
- IV therapy and phlebotomy
- Central line care and management
- Administration and management of IV vasopressors
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Care of ventilated patients
- Isolation precautions and PPE
- Triage
- Trauma Level II or III experience

Experience
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Experience caring for patients at a 1:4 patient ratio
- Community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Travel nursing experience required; candidates without travel experience may be considered with strong relevant experience and will be screened accordingly
