Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Bilingual English/Spanish Strongly Preferred
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: 16–24 hours per week, with potential for additional hours as the program expands
Pay: Starting at $50/hour (1099 contract)

About the Position
Occupational Health Services (OHS) is seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide onsite occupational health services at a large and growing manufacturing facility in the Milwaukee area.
Many employees primarily speak Spanish. We are especially interested in nurses who can communicate confidently with employees in both English and Spanish. Bilingual ability will be a strong consideration in our hiring decision.
This part-time position will initially provide approximately 16–24 hours per week, primarily during first shift, with some flexibility to support second-shift operations. Additional hours may become available as the facility and its workforce continue to expand.
The RN will evaluate and treat workplace injuries, provide follow-up care, assist with injury prevention, and collaborate with an onsite Nurse Practitioner and the OHS Medical Director when advanced evaluation is necessary.

Responsibilities
Evaluate, treat, and document workplace injuries and illnesses within the RN scope of practice.
Provide early intervention and follow-up care for cuts, wounds, strains, sprains, burns, eye injuries, contusions, and other workplace incidents.
Perform wound care and other appropriate nursing treatments.
Communicate clearly with employees in English and, for bilingual candidates, Spanish.
Monitor employees’ recovery and communicate changes in condition.
Recognize when an employee requires evaluation by the onsite Nurse Practitioner, OHS Medical Director, or an outside medical provider.
Collaborate closely with the onsite Nurse Practitioner and other OHS clinical staff.
Assist with return-to-work coordination and implementation of provider-issued work restrictions.
Help reduce unnecessary OSHA-recordable injuries through timely, appropriate, and evidence-based care.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, safety personnel, and management.
Support employee wellness, injury-prevention, and workplace-safety initiatives.
Assist with occupational health services such as drug and alcohol testing, hearing testing, respirator fit testing, and health screenings when properly trained.
Qualifications
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
BLS certification required.
Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
Two or more years of occupational health experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, family practice, industrial nursing, or a similar clinical setting is helpful.
Experience independently assessing and managing acute injuries is preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to build positive relationships with employees, supervisors, and management.
