Location: Lubbock, TX
Weekly Gross Pay: $3,200
Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Shift: Days/Nights Available | 4x12 Hours
Weekly Hours: 48 Hours Approved
Patient Ratio: 1:2
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
1. Mandatory Requirements to Apply
Previous Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience required.
Clinical experience in cardiovascular surgery and trauma patient care.
Experience managing ventilated patients and chest tubes.
Proficiency in central venous line (CVL) management.
Experience caring for patients with external ventricular drains (EVDs).
Knowledge of neurosurgical critical care and laboratory interpretation.
Ability to manage critically ill patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Must be willing to float between units based on staffing needs.
Must be available for 4x12-hour shifts.
Block scheduling is not available.
First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
2. Roles & Responsibilities
Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio.
Monitor and manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, chest tubes, central venous lines, and external ventricular drains.
Deliver specialized nursing care to cardiovascular surgery, trauma, and neurosurgical patients.
Assess changes in patient conditions, interpret laboratory results, and respond promptly to critical situations.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and float between units as required.
3. Bonus, Benefits & Salary
Weekly Gross Pay: $3,107
48 hours per week approved
Day and night shifts available
4x12-hour shifts

Level II Trauma Center environment
Short-term acute care setting
First-time travelers accepted
Floating between units required
