Job Title: X - Ray Technologist
Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift : 12 Hours Day shift
Pay rate: $50/hr - $55/hr
Start Date: 11/23/2026
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks of contract with the possible extension.

Position Summary: MedCadre is seeking a qualified and experienced X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, knowledge of radiographic equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
Position patients correctly to obtain clear, high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow radiation safety procedures and minimize patient exposure.
Review images for quality and ensure they are suitable for diagnostic interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Monitor equipment performance and report any technical issues.
Requirements:
Active X - Ray tech license.
BLS certification required .
ARRT R Certification required.
COVID card (Medical/Religious exemptions are accepted.
