About This Position
We are seeking a Long Term Care Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within a long-term care facility in Rhinelander, WI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geriatrics, memory care, and complex patient management, with a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Contract Length: 12 Weeks
Shift: Noc Shift, 10p-6a
Rotating Schedule: Wk 1 - Su, M, Th, F, Sa, Wk 2 - Su, M, W, F, Sa
Pay Rate: $1800-$2100/wk
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Previous Long Term Care Experience
Requirements: BLS
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and review of medical histories to develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately, including IV infusions, injections, and wound suturing, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
Monitor residents’ conditions closely, managing acute pain, infectious diseases, and chronic illnesses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, case management, and specialized therapies such as speech or occupational therapy.
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, medication regimens, and lifestyle adjustments
Respond promptly to emergencies or critical incidents utilizing critical care procedures and trauma medicine protocols when necessary
Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per week
