Shift Information
- 8-hour varied shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Schedule may adjust according to patient care needs
Requirements and Skills
- Valid and current Physical Therapist license as required by state regulations
- Proven ability to assess patient physical conditions and develop effective treatment plans
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and needs through detailed assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
- Document patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families about recovery and prevention techniques
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nebraska or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience with varied patient populations preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compensation
Hourly rate: $64.00 - $76.00
