Shift / Schedule

Requirements and Skills
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
- Proven experience in inpatient dietetics and clinical nutrition care
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy across various clinical settings
- Ability to perform nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in patient documentation and use of electronic medical records
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing patient care needs
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of inpatient clients
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as necessary
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and thorough nutrition documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in clinical nutrition and dietetics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- Licensure as required by the state of Minnesota
- Previous inpatient clinical experience highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $57.00 - $67.00
