About This Position

Join our team as a Medical Assistant (CMA) in Seattle, WA for a 13-week travel/contract assignment. Work Day shift (5x8 hours, 8:00–17:00) with guaranteed 36 hours/week in an adult outpatient clinic setting.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience to be considered (prefer 1 year)
  • Patient Ratio Experience: 1:1
  • Charting System: Required — any
  • Travel Experience: Not required
  • Certifications: BLS and CMA

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and assist with workflow in an adult outpatient clinic
  • Record patient history and document medications/allergies
  • Obtain and document vital signs including height/weight, pulse oximetry, and other standard vitals
  • Administer medications and assist with appropriate medication-related tasks
  • Perform and assist with clinical tasks such as immunizations and intramuscular injections
  • Administer and follow up with TB testing (including administration of TB tests)
  • Collect and label specimens, including sputum
  • Support lab testing as assigned, including strep
  • Set up and assist with procedures, including nebulizer treatments
  • Prepare charts by completing chart preparation and documentation
  • Handle office duties such as authorization forms and stocking supplies
  • Support pharmacy and patient refill workflow (pharmacy calls/patient refill requests)
  • Make professional follow-up phone calls as needed

  • Demonstrated professional knowledge in administering medications, injections, specimen handling, and vitals
