Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• NICU (required)
• PICU (required)
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
• Travel experience required: No
• Previous charge experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity neonatal/pediatric transport care during ground transport
• Manage complex respiratory support, including HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilator care
• Perform airway care and suctioning (ETT/NT) and provide tracheostomy care
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and support end-tidal CO2 monitoring
• Manage chest tubes and ventilated patient care/maintenance of an acute airway
• Support emergency and medication management, including anti-seizure medications and continuous sedation
• Administer/monitor IV vasopressors and perform pediatric dosage calculations
• Provide IV therapy and phlebotomy support, including starting and maintaining IVs
• Assist with arterial line management and central line blood draws
• Support infectious disease precautions, including hyperthermia management and isolation/PPE adherence
• Support neurologic protocols including hypothermia protocol care
• Interpret dysrhythmias and assist with management of dysrhythmias
• Perform NG tube insertion/management
• Provide urinary catheter insertion/management
• Maintain documentation using Epic
