About This Position
Now Hiring: Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Join our compassionate team at a small congregate living facility where quality care comes first.
We are currently seeking dedicated, dependable, and compassionate Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about providing exceptional care and improving the quality of life for our residents in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Details:
Per Diem
Day shift (0600-1830), NOC Shift (1800-0630)
12-hour shifts
Differential Pay
Small resident-to-staff ratio, allowing for personalized, high-quality care
Work closely with the Charge Nurse and interdisciplinary team
Supportive leadership and collaborative work environment
Please Note:
As a smaller facility with consistent staffing, per diem shifts are currently limited. Most available shifts become available when a scheduled staff member requests time off or calls out.
However, we are excited to announce that our facility will be expanding from 6 residents to 18 residents in the near future. We are hiring per diem CNAs now with the intention of offering additional and more consistent hours as we grow. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team early and grow with us.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity and independence.
Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe.
Help create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
Requirements:
Current California CNA certification in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused.
Experience in congregate living, skilled nursing, or long-term care is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
If you’re looking to become part of a close-knit team where your work is appreciated, your residents truly know you, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow with an expanding facility, we’d love to hear from you!
Come grow with us as we expand from 6 to 18 residents and continue providing exceptional care to those we serve!
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
