Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (Weekends Only) and make a meaningful impact on patient care during critical weekend hours! As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver expert patient assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support a variety of specialties including acute care, geriatrics, behavioral health, and long-term care environments. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine immediate needs.

Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques.

Monitor patients’ conditions using telemetry systems and respond swiftly to changes in vital signs or symptoms.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet patient needs across various specialties.

Document all patient interactions thoroughly within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Provide patient education on medication management, post-discharge instructions, and health coaching to promote recovery and wellness.

Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, or tube feeding while maintaining sterile technique standards.

Skills

Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments including critical care units (ICU/Trauma), emergency rooms, or long-term care facilities.

Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.

Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, catheter care, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient management.

Familiarity with advanced nursing procedures including ventilator management, wound suturing, dialysis support, and infection control practices.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges in settings like memory care or behavioral health units.

Ability to perform triage assessments efficiently in urgent care or outpatient environments while prioritizing patient safety.
