Now Hiring: Flu Clinic Nurse (LPN/LVN) | 6-month contract
Pay Rate: $37.17/hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours per week including every other weekend | 2-3 shifts weekly
Schedule Details
Shifts range 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours (830a-730p- Weekdays; 9a-530p Sat; 9a-430p Sun)
Work schedule created in 6-week blocks after 2 weeks of FT training/orientation- will transition to PT schedule following training
Must be available for every other weekend and some major holidays
Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll provide one-on-one patient care in a supportive outpatient/retail-based clinic setting.
Responsibilities will include:
Administering vaccines and injections (flu, COVID, TB tests, etc.)
Taking and documenting patient vital signs
Assisting providers in emergency situations when needed
Registering, checking in, and checking out patients
Supporting clinic operations (appointment scheduling, reminder calls, managing the waiting room)
Preparing the clinic and waiting area for the best patient experience
Delivering patient education and providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in state of residence
At least 1 year of experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room required
Prior experience giving vaccines and injections required
Ability to take vital signs and document in Epic EMR
Current BLS certification
