About This Position

Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in Multispecialty Ultrasound (General/OB/GYN/Vascular/Echo) in Plainview, TX. This 13-week Travel/Contract assignment offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with a day shift schedule.

Position Details

  • Role: Cath Lab Technologist (Multispecialty Ultrasound Tech General Ultrasound Echo Vascular)
  • Location: Plainview, TX
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract (13 weeks)
  • Shift: Day (4x10 Hours) — 7:00 to 17:30
  • Start Date: 2026-09-08
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Pay: $78.00–$92.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform and support ultrasound services across adult and pediatric populations, including emergency and high-acuity settings (Adult, Emergency Department, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Portables, High Risk OB)
  • Complete OB/GYN ultrasound workflow including 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa
  • Conduct fetal ultrasound evaluations including abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, diaphragm, duodenal atresia/intussusception, fingers/toes, gender, head, and heart
  • Support neonatal ultrasound studies including abdomen, duodenal atresia/intussusception, head (required), hips (required), renal, and spine (required)
  • Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal aorta, appendix, breast (required), gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen
  • Perform vascular ultrasound studies including aorta, carotid, color flow, doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial/venous, M-Mode, renal artery duplex, and upper extremity arterial/venous
  • Complete renal/pelvis ultrasound work including bladder, hernia, ovaries, renal/bladder, transvaginal, uterus, and vaginal
  • Perform small parts ultrasound including breast ultrasound (required), superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid
  • Support transplant-related studies including liver (required) and renal (required)
  • Assist with procedures including paracentesis (required) and ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration (required)
  • Provide adult echo and contrast echo as needed
  • Support echo stress testing including echo stress — treadmill
  • Follow isolation precautions/PPE and maintain appropriate patient safety practices
  • Use PACS and chart using the required charting system

Requirements

  • Charting system: Epic (required)
  • Certifications: ARDMS or ARDMS VT or CCI or RDCS, and BLS
  • Professional knowledge and skills: Isolation Precautions/PPE
  • Equipment familiarity: GE, PACS
