Responsibilities
- Set up equipment and prepare for procedures
- Serve as room circulator as needed
- Scrub and maintain a sterile field using sterile technique
- Maintain sterile technique and isolation precautions/PPE
- Accurately monitor patients during procedures
- Prep access site
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
- Support procedural workflows across interventional radiology and special procedures
- Use and support vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
- Maintain equipment and stock supplies
- Use imaging modalities including computed tomography and fluoroscopy; support use of Siemens, Philips, and ultrasound equipment
- Perform venous access support, including PICC lines care and maintenance, central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC lines), and central venous lines care and maintenance
- Access and manage ports
- Participate in infection control practices
- Support procedural categories including endovascular interventions, central venous access/port placement, and related interventional radiology workflows
Requirements
- 1 year of experience (IR experience required)
- ARRT R
- Active WA License
- ACLS (required)
- BLS
- ERCP (required)
- Percutaneous Stone Extraction (required)
- Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram (required)
- Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy (required)
- PICC Lines- Care and Maintenance (required)
