Qualifications: High school graduate, ability to write and understand English fluently. BLS from American Heart Association required. Previous Medical Assistant/LPN/medical experience preferred. Applicant must possess a positive, friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills. Applicant must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. Multi-lingual a plus.
Responsibilities: Performs phlebotomy and collects other specimens using safe practices and follows practice procedure. Ensures efficient clinical flow by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, preparing patients for their exam, assisting providers with exams, treatments and procedures, accurately and efficiently completing physician orders, preparing rooms for new patients. Performs follow-up on labs and diagnostic test results and communicates results to providers. Maintains work areas to ensure healthy environment conditions by cleaning and organizing equipment as per infection control procedures. Must have the ability to multi-task and must be detail oriented. Must be able to work well with other staff members, work in enclosed spaces, stretch, bend, lift/carry up to 40 pounds and must be able to stand for extended periods.
Work hours: 6:30 am-3:30 pm. Weekends- One Saturday every 8 Weeks and Holiday Rotation Expected
Salary: Commensurate with duties and experience. Full benefit package available. Details will be provided if selected for an interview.
