About This Position

Position Type: Full Time – Non-Exempt

About Us: At Northwest Integrated Health we offer a true patient-centered, comprehensive, integrated treatment model. Our multi-disciplinary team includes SUD counselors, medical providers, psychiatric providers, and recovery coaches. We have three locations in Pierce county which are licensed and certified Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP’s).

Job Summary: The SUD Counselor engages patients to assist them in treatment and recovery. The SUD Counselor motivates patients utilizing recovery language and principles. The SUD Counselor works closely with medical personnel to create an evidence-based, patient-centered, comprehensive, and integrated treatment model for substance use disorders and mental health disorders to include medication management. The SUD Counselor will assist in creating meaningful Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to promote safety and other desired outcomes. SUD Counselor provides compassionate care through various mediums which include both individual and group counseling sessions.

Benefits:

All full-time employees will receive 15 PTO days in a calendar year and are entitled to 12 paid holidays and 1 float holiday each year. Full time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Starting SUDP Pay: $29/hr.

Starting SUDP/T Pay: $26/hour

Requirements:

· Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or similar field

· Must be registered with the Department of Health as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP/SUDP-T) in the State of Washington.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
