About This Position
RP Plastic Surgery and Rikesh Parikh MD FACS are seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in a outpatient ambulatory surgical center Bellevue WA. We are interested in individuals who are interested in plastic surgery and aesthetics. The operating room is focused on cosmetic procedures and aesthetic services. We are looking for a RN with excellent communication skills, projects a pleasant and professional image.

This is a part time hourly rate position located in beautiful Bellevue, WA.
Required Duties:
Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies
Verify that all required pre-operative labs , EKGs, and imaging are in the patient's chart.
Circulate in the operating room
Document all aspects of the surgical procedure in the patient’s chart
Handle specimens taken during surgery and ensure proper labeling and documentation
Recovery of patients until discharge from facility
Provides patients with instructions in the preoperative area and at discharge to friends and family members
Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and reorder as needed
Coordinates the break/lunch and schedules for the staff
Maintain DOH compliance standards for ASC and present for audits and inspections
Qualifications and Skills:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience in operating room or surgical nursing
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Experience:
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
