Responsibilities
- Prepare the cath lab for procedures, including equipment setup and readiness checks.
- Assist the clinical team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Maintain sterile field practices and follow safety protocols throughout the procedure.
- Support imaging workflow, including equipment handling and procedure readiness.
- Monitor and document relevant procedure-related information according to unit processes.
- Adhere to established standards for patient safety, infection control, and quality.
Requirements
- Education and clinical training required for Cath Lab Technologist role (as applicable per hiring standards).
- Experience assisting in cath lab procedures and maintaining procedure readiness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and patient safety practices.
- Current licensure/certifications required for Cath Lab Technologist work (as applicable per hiring standards).
