Responsibilities
- Provide professional knowledge and skills to support imaging and procedural workflow.
- Perform 3D imaging.
- Practice isolation precautions/PPE and support infection control with sterile technique.
- Use rapid response/code team processes as needed in critical situations.
- Complete venous access tasks including accessing/managing ports.
- Support central venous access and central venous lines care and maintenance (non-tunneled/PICC lines and central venous lines).
- Maintain PICC lines care and maintenance (required).
- Support procedural responsibilities including accurate monitoring, equipment set up, and EKG lead placement (required).
- Prepare access site and maintain appropriate circulation roles (room circulator).
- Perform scrub duties to maintain a sterile field.
- Utilize vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose.
- Assist with abdominal and pelvic procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, and angioplasty-related work.
- Support chemoembolization (required), radio embolization (required), and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of the liver (required).
- Participate in endograft placement (required).
- Support paracentesis (required) and other interventional procedures such as angioplasty-related embolization, chest tube placement, embolization, inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement and removal, inferior vena cavagram, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, pelvic angiography, percutaneous hepatic angiography, pulmonary arteriography, renal angiography, selective visceral angiography, stent placement, superior vena cavogram, and thoracentesis.
- Support genitourinary studies/procedures including angiography of the genitourinary system, adrenal angiography, catheter/drain exchange, cholecystostomy, cystoscopy, embolization, gastrostomy, internal/external biliary drainage, nephrostomy, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, uterine arterial embolization, and related interventions.
- Support vascular studies/procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), endovascular interventions, EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) (required), TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair) (required), thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography.
- Assist with neurological studies/procedures including carotid angiography, discogram, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and vertebroplasty.
- Operate and support equipment and devices including fluoroscopy, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound.
- Maintain equipment, manage PACS, and stock supplies.

- 1 year of experience in the specialty (required).
- ARRT R.
- BLS.
- PICC Lines – care and maintenance (required).
- Perform EKG lead placement (required).
