Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and department procedures.
- Prepare patients, equipment, and exam areas for safe and accurate imaging.
- Review exam orders, follow applicable safety practices, and document procedures in the charting system.
- Provide professional care across acute care, outpatient, and emergency or trauma settings.
Requirements
- ARRT MR certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Washington state license
- Adult Acute Care experience
- Adult Outpatient experience
- Experience with ER/Trauma imaging
- Abdomen and abdominal magnetic resonance angiography (MRA)
- Female pelvis and male pelvis
- Brain, cranial nerves, and face/soft tissue neck
- Breast, chest, and myocardium
- Cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sacrum/coccyx spine imaging, including spinal trauma
- Foot, hand, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lower extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, temporomandibular joint with or without contrast, and upper extremity long bones
- MR cardiac imaging with and without contrast
- Isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Radiation safety
- Starting peripheral IVs
- Siemens equipment experience
