Job Summary:
Seeking an RN – Critical Care Float with recent 2 years of experience in critical care settings.
Must have experience floating across SICU, Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, General ICU, Medical ICU, and Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology ICU, as well as a Med-Surg unit in Acute care setting.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in managing critically ill patients using advanced monitoring and life-support systems.
Should be adaptable, quick to respond in high-pressure situations, and able to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients across various critical care units.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient conditions using advanced equipment.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and critical care treatments.
Assist with life-support measures, ventilator management, and emergency interventions.
Float between units as needed based on patient care requirements.
Document patient care accurately and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
Skills:
Critical care nursing and patient monitoring.
Cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and hemodynamic assessment.
Emergency response and life-support interventions (BLS/ACLS).
Medication administration, IV therapy, and critical care procedures.
Adaptability, strong communication, and EMR documentation skills.
Requirements:
WA RN License
BLS, ACLS Certified through AHA
