Responsibilities
- Perform assigned mammography and related imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure areas for diagnostic and screening services.
- Maintain patient safety, imaging quality, and accurate documentation throughout each procedure.
- Apply appropriate infection-control and personal protective equipment practices.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with any charting system required.
- Procedural skills: 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy.
- Professional knowledge and skills: isolation precautions and PPE.
- Equipment experience: Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX.
