Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across assigned clinical areas.
- Obtain accurate diagnostic images while supporting patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures and vascular studies as assigned.
- Review images for technical quality and complete timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare teams to support efficient patient care.
Requirements
Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, ARDMS FE, ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS-AB or-OB or-BR or-FE, ARRT S, BLS, and RDCS - RVT. ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, ARDMS FE, ARDMS OB/GYN, ARRT S, and RDCS - RVT are required.
Clinical Skills
- OB/GYN: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester, fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screen, and umbilical cord Doppler.
- General ultrasound: abdominal aorta, appendix, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen.
- Work settings: adult, emergency department, NICU, pediatrics, and portables.
- Procedures: amniocentesis, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration.
- Vascular: arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, Doppler studies, lower extremity arterial, lower extremity venous, peripheral vascular resistance, renal artery duplex, upper extremity arterial, and upper extremity venous.
- Renal/pelvis: bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, and vaginal.
- Small parts: breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid.
- Equipment and systems: GE, PACS, Siemens, neonates, biopsies, and Acuson.
- Additional setting: outpatient.

- At least 1 year of experience.
- Travel experience is required.
