About This Position
Join Quick2Hire as a Registered Nurse in Lubbock, TX, for a 13-week travel contract supporting patients in a neuro telemetry and stepdown setting. Work overnight shifts as part of a 3x12 schedule.
Position Details

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care in a neuro telemetry and stepdown setting, monitor and respond to patient needs, and collaborate with the care team in accordance with established protocols.
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Charting system: Experience with any charting system is required.
- Work settings: Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; use of Rapid Response and Code teams
- IV therapy and phlebotomy: Blood product administration; central line care and management; peripheral line care and management
- Medications: Manage cardiac drips without titration; titrate cardiac drips; follow heparin protocols; manage vasoactive drips without titration
- Respiratory: Nasal cannula; oxygen administration; non-invasive airway management
- Professional practice: Isolation precautions and PPE
- Endocrine/metabolic: Titration of insulin drips

Experience
- At least 2 years of experience
- Experience with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
