Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for your next travel nursing opportunity? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel LPN – Long-Term Care (LTC) to join a healthcare team for a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.
This opportunity offers a choice of 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week, with experience in both Long-Term Care (LTC) and Transitional Care Unit (TCU) settings.
Job Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care or transitional care setting.
Administer medications and treatments within the scope of the LPN license.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
Document nursing care and medication administration accurately.
Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, medication aides, and other healthcare staff.
Support resident safety, comfort, and quality of care.
Float between LTC and TCU units as needed, depending on experience and skill set.
Qualifications
Active LPN license valid for the assignment location.
Long-term care, nursing home, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to adapt to changing resident care needs and unit assignments.
Wound care, wound VAC, and IV therapy experience are a plus but are not required for TCU assignment consideration.
