    Description

    American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification.

    Details

  • Work in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility post-acute care setting
  • Current census of 42 beds with elderly patients presenting multiple diagnoses
  • Patient ratios vary by shift, from 1:21 up to 1:42
  • Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the EMR system
  • 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Day shift schedule, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, working 12-hour shifts
  • Requires every other weekend and every other holiday coverage
  • On-call or call-back is not available or billable

    Requirements

  • Current LPN license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Driver's license copy required for consideration
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

    Additional Information

  • Facility-specific orientation includes 1 day of orientation followed by up to 3 days shadowing staff on the floor
  • Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius at a lower rate
  • Candidates residing outside an 80-mile radius are eligible for the standard travel rate
