Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Med Surg

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical-Surgical care to join our dynamic team in Park River, ND. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking to provide high-quality patient care while benefiting from a supportive work environment. Schedule

  • 12-Hour Day/Night Rotation
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements & Skills

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of North Dakota
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in Medical-Surgical nursing
  • Ability to effectively assess and manage patient care needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment
  • Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
  • Team-oriented with a focus on patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, following established protocols and standards
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and vital information
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse license in North Dakota
  • Recent experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule effectively

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $59.00 - $69.00
