Shift & Schedule
- Night Shift: 4 shifts of 12 hours each
- Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (candidates with less than 2 years will be screened out)
- Travel nursing experience required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Proficiency in postpartum nursing care and related clinical skills
- Additional skills in special procedures related to postpartum care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, ensuring comfort, safety, and optimal health outcomes
- Assist with assessments, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Support and educate new mothers on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, employing critical thinking and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on postpartum or maternal-newborn care preferred
- Valid BLS and NRP certifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
