Shift & Schedule

This position is an AM shift role, offering a consistent schedule that allows for work-life balance and professional fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Valid Dietitian credentials and license as required by state regulations
  • Experience or knowledge relevant to renal and transplant patient nutrition is highly valued
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Ability to conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized patient care plans
  • Proficient in documentation and use of electronic health records
  • Commitment to adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and interventions tailored to kidney transplant patients
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered nutrition care plans
  • Collaborate closely with the transplant team including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families regarding dietary modifications and nutritional management pre- and post-transplant
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nutritional care activities
  • Stay current with clinical guidelines and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred
  • Relevant clinical experience, ideally in renal or transplant dietetics
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for patient advocacy and delivering high-quality care
