Join Our Team as a Pharmacy Professional in Hood River, OR

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacy professional to join our dynamic team. Schedule

Day Shift – 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with outpatient infusion
  • Oregon Pharmacist License (required)
  • Certification in Chemo/Hazardous Drug handling (required)
  • Preferred experience with Epic charting system
  • Preferred community hospital experience
  • Experience in Home Health Infusion settings (required)
  • Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system (required)
  • Oncology experience (required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compound intravenous medications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage dosing of high-alert medications, including psychotherapeutic agents and therapeutic medication monitoring.
  • Provide pharmacotherapy management for oncologic medical problems.
  • Dispense medications accurately using Pyxis systems and maintain proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, home health infusion, and inpatient/acute care settings.
  • Ensure adherence to hazardous drug handling protocols and safety regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records, preferring use of Epic charting systems.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Oregon
  • Certified in Chemo/Hazardous Drug handling
  • Proven experience with outpatient infusion and oncology pharmacotherapy
  • Skilled in intravenous medication compounding and dosing management
  • Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy for oncologic conditions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within healthcare teams

Compensation and Additional Information

Hourly rate: $63.00 - $74.00
