Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging and cardiology-related diagnostic procedures in compliance with protocols and safety regulations.
- Utilize advanced post-processing techniques, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction, to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
- Carry out specialized imaging studies of the abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal systems.
- Execute special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion studies, coronary CTA, and radiation therapy planning.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety standards and infection control policies, including isolation precautions and proper PPE usage.
- Provide leadership and manage operational aspects within the imaging unit to optimize workflow and patient care quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting within the Epic system or designated platform.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in various clinical settings, including Level I and II Trauma Centers, ICU, emergency departments, and outpatient clinics.
- Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture and peripheral IV starts as necessary.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment from GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS technologies.
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certifications in CT and Radiography (ARRT CT, ARRT R)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced CT and cardiology imaging techniques and post-processing
- Proven experience working within Level I and II Trauma Centers
- Strong leadership and management abilities within clinical imaging environments
- Proficient with Epic charting system and other imaging software platforms
- Committed to upholding radiation safety protocols and best practices in patient care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $61.00 to $72.00.
