- Guaranteed Hours/Week: 36

- Pay: $59.00–$70.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide patient assessment and therapy focused on AROM/AAROM/PROM
- Use and manage assistive devices as appropriate for care needs
- Apply body mechanics strategies during treatment and mobility-related activities
- Conduct pain assessment as part of ongoing care
- Support skin integrity monitoring and related care follow-through
- Complete strength testing and monitor progress
- Perform vital sign monitoring when indicated
- Deliver breathing techniques and manage treatment needs related to COPD, CHF, CABG, and MI
- Address cognitive disorders, including dementia/Alzheimer’s and post-stroke rehabilitation
- Lead discharge planning documentation, including evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, short-term goals
- Provide gait training and orthopedic-focused rehab support, including hip fractures/injuries, knee injuries/tendinopathy, total hip replacement, and total knee replacement
- Support geriatric and orthopedics patient populations with individualized care
- Develop and implement a Home Exercise Program
- Provide patient family education
- Assist with care across additional areas such as ER, ICU, and Medical Surgical as needed
Requirements
- Acute Care experience (required)
- 1+ year(s) of relevant experience
- Preferred charting system: Epic
- Certifications: BLS, PT
- Breathing techniques experience (required)
- Cognitive disorders management experience (required)
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience (required)
- Specialty bed/air mattress bed experience (required)
- Home Exercise Program (required)
- Patient family education (required)
