About This Position

Join our team as an Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week travel/contract opportunity in Spokane, WA. Work a night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00) with guaranteed 36 hours per week and an hourly rate of $55.00–$65.00.

Responsibilities

  • Medication delivery and administration support using prescribed respiratory therapies and medication delivery systems
  • Provide ventilator care, including troubleshooting high pressure alarms and assisting with weaning from mechanical ventilation
  • Support emergency and pediatric workflows, including trauma and rapid response needs
  • Perform airway management tasks such as extubation, airway placement, and suctioning as needed
  • Support pulmonary hygiene and obtain sputum specimens when indicated
  • Assist with tracheostomy care/management
  • Operate and manage nebulizers (hand held, T-piece, and trach collar) according to protocol
  • Support oxygen therapy needs, including trach collar use
  • Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and apply findings to ongoing patient care
  • Administer prescribed respiratory medications, including the required agents listed in the Requirements section

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience
  • ACLS (required)
  • PALS (required)
  • BLS
  • RRT
  • Washington license
  • Trauma, Rapid Response experience (required)
  • Trauma Level I experience (preferred)
  • Teaching hospital experience (preferred)
  • Emergency Department experience (required)
  • Pediatrics experience (required)
  • Experience with ventilator management including troubleshooting high pressure alarms (required) and weaning from mechanical ventilation (required)
  • Experience administering these required medications/therapies: Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Ketamine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Theophylline
