About This Position

Join our team as an Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Spokane, WA. Work a night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00) with guaranteed 36 hours per week, supporting respiratory/neuro diagnostics and delivering safe, patient-focused care.

Position Details

  • Role: Electrophysiology Technician (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)
  • Location: Spokane, WA

  • Start date: 2026-10-05
  • Schedule: Night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00)
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week

Responsibilities

  • Support respiratory/neuro diagnostics workflows, including interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
  • Administer and manage respiratory medications and therapies using medication delivery systems and administration methods required for the role
  • Operate and manage ventilator therapies, including troubleshooting high pressure alarms (required) and weaning from mechanical ventilation (required)
  • Provide airway management and suctioning support, including extubation, airway placement, pulmonary hygiene, and sputum specimen collection
  • Perform tracheostomy care/management and support oxygen therapy as needed (including trach collar)
  • Set up and manage nebulizers (hand held, t-piece, and trach collar)
  • Deliver pediatric-focused and emergency department-ready care (Emergency Department and Pediatrics are required)
  • Respond to trauma and rapid response needs (required)

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience
  • ACLS (required)
  • PALS (required)
  • BLS
  • RRT
  • Washington license
  • Medication administration proficiency including bicarbonate (required), inhaled Flolan (required), ketamine (required), mucomyst (required), nitric oxide (INo) (required), and theophylline (required)
  • Ventilator management skills including troubleshooting high pressure alarms (required) and weaning from mechanical ventilation (required)
  • Airway management and suctioning experience including extubation, nasal/oral airway placement, nasal/oral suctioning, and tracheostomy care/management
  • Work-ready experience in the Emergency Department (required) and Pediatrics (required)
  • Trauma, rapid response experience (required)
  • Preferred: Teaching hospital experience
  • Preferred: Trauma Level I experience
  • Travel experience required: No
